A fun and challenging local race and series, The Blue Moon Trail Run is provided by the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. It starts and finishes at Pinon Valley Park and runs through Ute Valley Park as well.
The 3-time run series is offered on the fourth Friday evenings of May, June, and July. In addition to the race series there will be a Reverse Biathlon and Triathlon race offered for May only. Kids races for those age 12 and under will also be offered.
