This semiannual camping trip is at Mueller State Park - a winner with beautiful scenery and far less crowds than at Rocky Mountain National Park.

They’ve reserved the Pisgah Point West Group Site for a limit of 20 people.

There’s a brewery close by in Divide (Paradox) and plenty on the way to Mueller for to-go options.

If you’re not up for camping in the group site and would still like to join, there are lodging options from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs or private camp sites available.

Your days at Mueller will be filled with fantastic birding and scenic hikes. Heck, even birding at the campground is productive.
