Barr Lake State Park invites you to bring in 2023 with a healthy start by heading outside to enjoy the trails. First Day Hikes offer a chance to start the new year right by getting out for some exercise in nature.

This hike at the park will be a great opportunity to view all types of wildlife, especially Bald eagles. Spotting scopes will be set up for use during the hikes. There will be hot beverages, kids crafts and giveaways!

Although this event is free, a daily or annual parks pass is required for entry to the park.
